The reviews above are many years out of date. In 2023 there is a new Pastor and staff and volunteers. It is loving and inclusive here. During the winter season nearly 9,000 hot meals were served, thousands took a hot shower, got clothes, and food bank goods. All are welcome.

I had an absolutely horrible ordeal with this church. It began when I went there attempting to feed myself and my unborn baby. And my dog was sitting on the outside Lounge area sofa and an employee of this church and also a resident of the church lot aggressively approached me and started being very confrontational about my dog. He asked me to remove my dog from the sofa. I told my dog to get down and she did because she is a good obedient loyal companion. But that was not good enough he continued to aggressively intimidate me and then asked me to leave and I left hungry . I stayed away for a week but then went back to attempt eating dinner there once more. As I was standing in line I was approached by the same two men and they told me that I could not come back there and that I needed to leave and they did not care that I was pregnant and hungry. They approached me and embarrassed me in front of all of my peers. The Lord does not dwell in this church. It is that simple. They called the police on me and trespassed me from the property . when all I wanted was a meal. I promise you it was a very traumatizing ordeal. These church people laughed at me as I cried to them and told them I did not understand why they were being the way that they were. Angry condescending rude. Very hurtful experience. I prayed about it and I prayed for this church. Several weeks after these incidents I went back to this church and I donated several boxes of food. Because the Lord tells us to bless those who persecute us bless those who do us wrong pray for them and by doing so the Lord will Heap hot coals down their mouth. I was afraid to go back because they had trespassed me and the police told me not to go back there but I could not refuse the Lord's request. I brought them several boxes of heavy food vegetables and such. I pray that they see the error of their ways. I pray that the Lord touches their hearts and removes the snake skin from their eyes so that they can see that the Lord is not pleased with their behavior. Wolves in sheep's clothing is what they are. Lola

i go into this place and ask for an emergency food box. the guy named bill tells me that if i get the food box, then i cant eat dinner here and its only a few cans and boxes. i end up having to beg please please i need it! before he allows me to use their food pantry. he then hands me the bag of food and says i hope you can make that last a week. this is how church people treat the homeless? disgusting

Folks can shower here starting at 9am on weekdays. I think the cutoff time is noon. There is just one shower stall. People go in one at a time. There's supposed to be a ten minute limit in the shower room. There are chairs to sit in while you wait, but they are not in the shade. Get there early or be prepared to wait in the sun.
